A Fall Promotion and Playing with Business Cards

For those who haven't seen the post on our Facebook site, we are headed to the UK next month for our belated Honeymoon.  As a result, we are in an extremely happy mood.  Because of that we are offering our customers 15% off their entire order when placed between now and November 5th.

So think of the possibilities!  Baby onesies for that expecting mom?  Family shirts for Christmas?  A customized hoody for a friend?  Letterpress invitations for the upcoming wedding or retirement?  Decals for the your car or truck with a clever message or graphic?  We can handle it all!

On another note, one of the things we started developing is a line of business cards.  The large Chandler & Price press is being reassembled, but we can still design & develop ideas.  Below are some business card design ideas for a friend of ours who is a musician.  It's a bit small because of the pictures constraints...Thoughts?

Baby Onesie's...the possibilities are endless....

One of our favorite things to do are baby clothes.  To be able to come up with something personal and meaningful for expecting couples just makes our day.  We have a couple pink onesies in work and we sent a prospective customer some mock-ups which we'd like to share with our loyal readers :)

So let us know what you think and for prospective customers we can do any of these designs for you on high-quality onesies made by Baby Jay.

New Numbered Tees

We had some leftover numbers and some classic American Apparel tees and decided it might be a good match.  Here's what we came up with!  I think they turned out pretty fun :)

Personalized Shirts for the whole (Stokes) Family

We have some friends of ours who are massive Twins Fans.  To help them in their supporting of their team's playoff chances (which unfortunately didn't turn out so well), we personalized some American Apparel Shirts.

Speaking of canvas...

We forgot to add a glimpse of what I gave my sister and her husband as a wedding present.  After searching for something unique and memorable, we just decided to create something in-house.  Here is the following (printed 16 x 20 on canvas).....

Personalized Canvas Art Prints

We've got some great items for retirements, promotions, and maybe even Christmas gifts.  Personalized art prints on canvas.  Below is our first foray into art prints.

To commemorate the completion of the 2010 Sea Trials USS Nevada, we worked with our favorite photographer Katie Chapman to come up with the below.  Based on customer input we also have personalized the prints for folks to celebrate their promotions to Chief Petty Officer.

So take a look at the below and let me know if you are interested.  10% discount to all active duty & retired members of the military.

Powder Puff Football!

One of services we offer at Skyhawk Press that most may not know about is custom apparel.  We love working with schools, teams, and other organizations to come up with creative and eye-catching designs.  It's that time of the year for football, and Powder Puff football!

Deep Run High School asked us to do their annual Powder Puff shirts and we are in progress.  We completed all of the numbering and tomorrow we will add the custom design on the front.

Baby Shower Invitations!

Another invite out of the shop! Our good friend Katie Chapman, whose photography fills our site, wanted to do her first letterpress project. We came up with a design together and she pressed the invites. Here is the result!

Ashley & Jeff's Wedding, Arlington VA.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ashley & Jeff's wedding in Arlington, Virginia.  Ashley was absolutely stunning and her and Jeff are an amazing couple.  Here are some of the products that we brought with us to the event:

For the table names they chose famous DC landmarks with a picture of them imposed:

For the program, we created a bi-fold on cotton with a burgundy and gold theme.  We tied in some of the design elements from their custom wedding invitations as well:
